REMINDER: New Tsunami Sirens at the Port of Everett to Sound at Full Wail Tomorrow (10/21) During Great Washington ShakeOut Drill

Tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021, around 10:21 a.m. as part of the Great Washington ShakeOut statewide earthquake and tsunami drill, the two new tsunami sirens located at the Port of Everett waterfront will be tested using the full wailing sound of a tsunami warning, not the Westminster Chimes sound used during the regular monthly tests. During this annual test, the wailing sound is also followed by a voice message in English and Spanish noting that it is only a test.
