Holiday on the Bay 2022

Kick-off the Holiday Season at the Port of Everett Waterfront!
*NEW LOCATION* Pacific Rim Plaza, 1028 13th Street, Everett, WA 98201

The Port of Everett invites community members and visitors to join in a day of family fun at the waterfront during its 15th annual Holiday on the Bay event taking place Saturday, Dec. 3, from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Rain or shine, guests will gather in and around the Port’s Pacific Rim Plaza, near Hotel Indigo, for the day’s outdoor festivities including a holiday pop-up market, free kids’ activities from cookie decorating, crafts and face painting to touch-a-truck, fire truck rides and character meet-and-greets, a tree-lighting ceremony and visit from Santa, lighted boats on parade, holiday drive-in movies (reservation required), and festive music and lighting displays. We’ve also added some new attractions this year, including “Food Truck Alley” featuring international flavors and s’mores roasting at the firepits.

  • 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Pop-up holiday market featuring 20+ local vendors
  • Noon – 7 p.m. Food Truck Alley offering international flavors
  • Noon – 5 p.m. FREE family fun:
  • 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. A visit from the "Frozen"-inspired Ice Queen and Ice Princess with When You Wish Events
  • 5 p.m. Tree-lighting ceremony at the "frozen fountain" tree and appearance from Santa and elves by boat
  • 6 p.m. Lighted boat parade organized by Mukilteo Yacht Club
  • 6 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. Drive-in movies at Boxcar Park; “Merry Madagascar” at 6 p.m. and “The Grinch” (2018) at 7:15 p.m. (reservation required)
  • Seasonal specials at various waterfront restaurants

Holiday Market

Start the holiday shopping season by supporting local vendors! The Port is curating a pop-up shop with a variety of artists and craft vendors bringing various goods to meet all your holiday shopping needs. You're sure to find that gift for someone special!

FREE Holiday Crafts

in partnership with Imagine Children's Museum
The Port has once again teamed up with our friends at Imagine Children’s Museum to continue its annual partnership in providing free holiday crafts. Visit the Imagine Children's Museum booth to complete your craft! (1 per person; while supplies last).

"Touch-A-Truck"

Bring your kiddos out to check out some cool engines! The City of Everett Fire Department will be bringing a fire truck and their mascot, the City of Everett Police Department will be brining a police car and boat, and Snohomish County PUD will be bringing their arc trailer for demonstrations. OceanGate's yellow Antipodes sub will be on display, as well as machinery from Papé.

Cookie Decorating

Free cookie decorating is back! Decorate cookies at this year’s Holiday on the Bay with a frosting and sprinkles kit courtesy of the Port of Everett (1 per person; while supplies last).

Marine Toys for Tots Holiday Toy Drive

The annual toy drive for Marine Toys for Tots is back again, accepting NEW, unwrapped toys for children in need this holiday season. Drop them off now through December 3 at the Port’s Waterfront Center lobby, near Scuttlebutt Restaurant, or bring your donation to Holiday on the Bay at Pacific Rim Plaza on Saturday, December 3.

Meet & Greet with Frozen-inspired Ice Queens

Come meet, mingle and snap a photo with your favorite ice queens from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. in Pacific Rim Plaza.

Lighted Boat Parade

Join us December 3rd  for a lighted boat parade, put on by Mukilteo Yacht Club. Various viewing locations are available along the waterfront trails and at select restaurants. Boats depart from North Guest Dock 5 and Central Guest Dock 6 to meet at the Snohomish River for the official start of the parade at 6pm.

Holiday Drive-In Movies

Space is limited, drive-in viewing only.
Back by popular demand, the Port is excited to announce the return of its waterfront drive-in movies on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022. Come early for FREE popcorn, along with concessions available for purchase from the Everett Sea Scouts. 

PLEASE NOTE: Drive-in viewing only. Reservation required, and each reservation represents one (1) vehicle space. Vehicle spaces are limited; please sign up for only one movie option to allow us to provide this fun experience to as many groups as possible. See you soon!

Pacific Ice

seasonal Community ice rink
Lace 'em up for the 2nd annual seasonal ice rink, Pacific Ice, located at the Port’s Pacific Rim Plaza, just in front of Hotel Indigo’s Jetty Bar & Grille. The family-friendly program runs daily from November 18, 2022 through January 9, 2023 with open ice skating public sessions, birthday/holiday parties, and select special events to be announced.

At Pacific Ice, guests will enjoy a truly unique experience of skating on real ice at a covered, open air rink overlooking the Port of Everett Marina. Holiday lights and hot cocoa add to the whimsical atmosphere.
