Port of Everett Now Accepting Applications for Annual Community Sponsorships Program; Applications Due May 14
On an annual basis, the Port of Everett Commission awards sponsorships to community programs and events that support tourism or economic development within the Port District. The Port Commission has committed $20,000 to the program in 2021.
Priority funding for the Port’s community sponsorship program is given to programs and events that promote Port properties and facilities, promote tourism throughout the Port District, provide economic development opportunities and/or promote education and public awareness.
The application deadline is Friday, May 14 at 5 p.m. Submittals are requested in electronic format e-mailed to catherines@portofeverett.com. Sponsorship awards are anticipated to be announced in early-June.
Please note: Due to COVID-19 and associated state and local guidance, all sponsorship awards are considered conditional approvals. If an awarded program or event is cancelled due to being unable to meet current COVID-19 guidance or are cancelled due to any other reason (and not rescheduled during 2021), the Port reserves the right to rescind any sponsorship funding and/or re-allocate to another eligible event or program.
