NOTICE: 10-DAY CLOSURE OF WEST MARINE VIEW DRIVE TO TAKE PLACE SEPT. 17 - 26 FOR CITY'S GRAND AVENUE PARK BRIDGE PROJECT

Please be advised: City of Everett contractor, Interwest Construction Inc., will be closing all five lanes of West Marine View Drive (WMVD) for 10 days from Tuesday, Sept. 17 through Thursday, Sept. 26 to place the Grand Avenue Park Bridge (GAPB) in its final alignment. The closure will occur between 13th and 18th Streets, WITH NO VEHICLE ACCESS THROUGH THE CONSTRUCTION AREA. To access the South Marina, Port Gardner Landing, Marina Village and all businesses and facilities in these areas, drivers must approach from the south. To access the Central Marina, North Marina, Boat Launch and all businesses and facilities in these areas, drivers must approach from the north. Pedestrian access around the construction area will be closed intermittently based on project need; there will be a several day exclusion zone in the immediate area of the bridge during which NO PEDESTRIAN ACCESS will be permitted. Landward access to the Port’s South Guest Dock 2 at Port Gardner Landing (the ADA dock) must be coordinated with the City in advance.
