Port of Everett Recognizes Juneteenth, Reaffirms Diversity as a Core Value

On this day of June 19, 2020, the Port of Everett wants to recognize and honor the diversity of our employees, customers, contractors, stakeholders and community. One of the Port’s core values is to embrace the richness of a diverse community. Today, in recognition of our commitment to this value, our international trade facilities will be closed for commerce during the day, as our labor force stands against adversity and condemns oppression in all forms.
The Port is, and has been, committed to fostering a diverse maritime workforce into the next generation through workforce development and early education outreach. We look forward to continuing to build on this commitment and grow stronger as a community.
